Who Moved Where in Beauty Q2 2026

This month saw more layoffs across the industry, from Estée Lauder Companies to specialty chemicals supplier Evonik, which announced plans to eliminate 3,200 jobs globally between 2027 and 2029 as part of an expanded efficiency and restructuring program.

Procter & Gamble announced a major leadership reshuffle across four of its five business segments as part of the broader executive transition under CEO Shailesh Jejurikar, and Musab Balbale announced his departure from CVS Health.

Estée Lauder Companies is establishing a new Fragrance Cluster in North America led by newly appointed SVP Vérane de Marffy, who will also serve as GM of Fragrances, North America. Before joining ELC, Marffy most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer, USA, at Scottish scotch distillery William Grant & Sons. Prior to this, she held a 22-year career at L’Oreal.

L’Oréal Canada Names Stéphane Bérubé President and CEO. His appointment marks a historic milestone for the Canadian subsidiary, as Bérubé becomes the first Canadian to lead the organization in Canada. Having started in 2002 as Brand Director for Maybelline New York Canada, Bérubé subsequently held key strategic positions, notably as General Manager of L’Oréal Paris in Canada, before being appointed Chief Marketing Officer of the Canadian subsidiary in 2014.  After a successful tenure as CMO for Western Europe, Bérubé returned to Canada in 2019 to lead the Consumer Products Division.
