Recently, beauty brands have continued to tap into nostalgia, with classic shades getting product upgrades and Y2K-inspired collaborations making a comeback. Clinique's cult-favorite Black Honey has expanded into nail polish. At the same time, Benefit Cosmetics's Benetint has been introduced in a new dual-ended lip format alongside a True Religion collaboration celebrating the launch. Bratz and Lilly Lashes have also embraced early-2000s beauty with a lash collection inspired by the iconic dolls. Elsewhere, new brands include queer-founded Mothered entering the skincare conversation with a new longevity serum, and Annual Leave, founded by two ex-Le Labo executives, bottling the feeling of past summers with its debut fragrance Summer Vol. 1.
