D-LAB Group Acquires Ho Karan from Liquidation

French nutricosmetics specialists the D-LAB Group has bought Ho Karan from liquidation.WHO: Founded in 2015, Ho Karan is France's first-ever cannabis skincare brand that aims to educate consumers about the natural benefits of the herb while priding itself on its ethical practices. The brand was founded by Laure Bouguen and is inspired by her grandparents, who began growing hemp in 1965.Founded in 2009, the D-LAB Group is a specialist in nutricosmetics in France with a brand portfolio that includes D-LAB Nutricosmetics, Birdie Nutrition, and Yum Holistics brands.WHY: Ho Karan had been in receivership since the end of May, before being placed in liquidation at the end of July. The deal is part of the expansion of the group.IN THEIR OWN WORDS: For Fleur Phelipeau, founder and CEO of D-LAB Group, health and beauty are intimately connected. “We are delighted to welcome Ho Karan to our group.
